Hello Everyone and Happy Wednesday! Today I’m reviewing Solvit’s Waterproof Bench Seat Cover as well as giving one away.
It is Spring time, the time of the year where everyone is itching to get outside with the longer days and the nicer weather. But Spring time also has it’s down sides, melting snow and rain. Two things that can make dog owners cringe. Why you might ask, because of tracking mud into your vehicle.
Prior to this year both my humans had junkie cars, I mean, cars that have seen better days. This was great for me because they didn’t care how dirty I got the seats. However, everything changed when my dad got a new job and needed a more dependable car. Now his car is newer, shinier, and labeled “the nice” car. And I was told I need to do my part and help keep it clean.
That’s were the Soliet Waterproof Bench Seat Cover comes in. This cover has helped make my job a lot easier and helps protect the back seat of my dad’s new car.

Here’s how to install the Solvit Waterproof Bench Seat Cover:
- Have the cover folded in half and lay on the seat.
- Push the two Sta-Put devices behind the seat. This helps keep the cover in place, especially when the windows are open.
- Put the two upper straps over the headrest and adjust the straps.
- Next put the two lower straps under the corners of the seat and adjust the straps.
- Then, pull the seat belt buckle(s) through the slots, as needed.
- Go around one more time and adjust all straps as needed for a snug fit.
It took my humans less then 3 minutes to apply the seat cover for the first time. This cover covers the entire back seat, stays in place nicely and hasn’t leaked any dirt or liquid. My humans favorite part of this cover, it’s machine washable. So keeping it clean is easy.
The one downside to this cover, if the back seat doesn’t have head rest it is hard to keep this cover in place.
I love this cover and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for extra protection from the elements. I can’t wait to use it this summer when my humans rent a car for our road trip to Arizona!
