Did you know today is National Squirrel Day? You heard me right, National Squirrel Day. What better way to celebrate then to go squirrel watching. I figure so many people go bird watching, why not look for squirrels. So, I bundled up my human nice and warm and headed to the local dog park that is located right off the river in the woods, the prime location.
We get to the park and I immediately dash off into the woods, my human not far behind me. At first I listen, but hear nothing.
Oh, wait, what’s that……………..just the wind blowing the branches around.
I kept looking and looking and nothing. So I decide to cause some ruckus and maybe they might get scared and move.
I jump on the trees. I try shaking the trees. I even tried to climb the trees. But, nothing, not even one fluffy tail.
Well, I’m sad to say I came up empty handed but I sure had fun exploring. Hope you all have a wonderful National Squirrel Day. If you find any of those fluffy tailed animals let me know!
Don’t forget to enter for your chance to win three bags of Spot Farms dog treats. There will be two lucky winners. Here is the link to the review post: GIVEAWAY POST.
