Hi Everyone and Happy Monday! I have a new pal I want you all to meet. Here are some clues, let’s see if you can figure it out.
His wears a 50 size shoe. Not only is he a giant, but he is a great lumber jack as well. And his axe handle is over 6 feet long
I bet your thinking to yourself, “Spencer, you gave him away in the title of your post!” And you would be correct.
That’s right, I saw the one and only, Paul Bunyan! I knew he was big, but man, I didn’t think he was going to be that tall and he was sitting. He could use my jacket as a sock! There are many statues of Paul throughout Minnesota and the US, but I saw this statue just south of Brainerd, Minnesota.
One of my favorite tall tales of Paul Bunyan:
While trekking through Minnesota one winter, Paul and Babe left a myriad of gigantic footprints, known throughout the state as the “Ten Thousand Lakes” to its modern denizens.
Have you heard about Paul Bunyan before? What is your favorite Paul Bunyan tale?
