Hello Everyone and Happy Thursday! Today I want to share my new dog tag with you all and to remind you to check your pup’s tags.
I have always sported a dog tag on my collar. If I were to ever run away or get lost it is the easiest way to be reunited with my humans. I should mention that I am micro chipped as well. But, not that many places have scanners that read the chips.
In planning for our big road trip to Arizona for the BlogPaws conference my mom wanted to make sure my dog tag was up to date. Little did she know, over the last 8 years, my tag was worn down, scratched and faded to the point you couldn’t read my tag.
So, she was on the hunt for a new, more durable tag.
She found a shop on Etsy called Standard Pattern that engraves on brushed stainless steel washer. They come in three different sizes, S (1 1/8″), M (1 1/4″), and XL (1 1/2″). Not only is this tag durable coming on a 3/4″ heavy duty split ring, but masculine as well.
On the front we asked for blog name “Spencer the Goldnedoodle.” On the back is my human’s phone number (which we blurred out) as well as “I’m Chipped.” This is another way to inform people that I am chipped which contains more information.
Finding fun, unique dog products adds charm and character. Especially, products that help keep you dog(s) safe all year round.
I would love to know what you have on your dog’s tag? Is your pup micro-chipped?
