Cannabidiol Treats? Goat Horns? What the heck is this stuff?

July 24, 2016 by spencerthegoldendoodle 5 Comments

Hello Everyone and Happy Monday!

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Today I’m sharing with you all two great snacks from Barkwrothies, Pumpkin Cannabidiol Treats and Large Goat Horn. So let’s jump right into it!

What on earth is cannabidiol? Cannabinoids (CBD) are naturally occurring compounds found in the cannabis plant. CBD is extracted from the cannabis plant and used to make non-toxic and 100% legal treats.

There are many therapeutic benefits of CBD. Barkworthies Pumpkin Cannabidiol Treats are recommended for dogs who have:

  • Mood Disorders
  • Pain
  • Cardiac Health
  • Cancer
  • Anxiety
  • Joint Pain
  • Inflammation
  • Lack of Appetite

More info about these treats:

  • Made From All-Natural Ingredients
  • Human Quality
  • Made in the USA
  • Non-Toxic, 100% Legal Treats

Besides the CBD, here is a list of the other ingredients used to make these tasty treats:

  • Hemp Derived Phytocannabinoids from seed and stalk
  • Gluten-Free Oat Flour
  • Pumpkin
  • Peanut Butter
  • Organic Coconut Oil
  • Brown Rice Flour
  • Apple Sauce
  • Organic Coconut Nectar
  • Organic Hemp Seep Oil
  • Turmeric
  • Vanilla
  • Cinnamon
  • Xanthan Gum
  • Potato Sarch

When it was time for the taste test, my mom placed four treats on a plate. After sniffing them for a second I gobbled them right up. As more of you might know I suffer from anxiety. My mom thought these treats would be great to review for that reason. After eating the treats she didn’t notice a big difference. But, being at home with my humans is calming to me.

Now, on to this goat horn.

First I asked my humans to explain what a goat is. They then explained that goat horns are like elk antlers, a delicious chew. It’s the yummy marrow that is inside the horn that makes them so desirable. That marrow is full of keratin that softens when it is wet.

Benefits from Goat Horns:

  • Durable for Aggressive Chewers
  • All-Natural
  • 100% Digestible
  • Additive-Free, Chemical-Free & Preservative-Free
  • Single-Ingredient Chews

Barkwarthies goat horns come in two different sizes small/medium and large.

As my mom is typing this post, I’m savoring each lick of the horn. My mom is happy to report that unlike some bones, this horn didn’t discolor the light color carpet in the office. There was also no odor from the horn.

Companies are always coming out with new products and Barkworthies is no different. Educating yourself about these products is so important. And because every dog is different, not all of them are going to love every treat, food, or chew on the market. But, these two products, the Pumpkin Treats and Goats Horn, are definitely going on my list of loves!

I would love to hear from you! Have your dogs ever tried treats containing CBD or a goats horn? How was their experience?

Spencer the Goldendoodle was provided these two products in this review. Spencer the Goldendoodle only provides honest feedback and no other compensation of given for this post. Barkworthies is not responsible for this post.
