Yesterday, Dr.Seuss just released a new book called, “What Pet Should I Get?” I’m a fan of his other work and jumped on the opportunity to pre-order my own copy months ago!
“What will we do?”
The story is about Kay and her bother. Their parents told them they could go to the pet story and pick out a new pet.
But they found out how hard it was to pick out just one.
“We have to pick ONE pet and pick it out soon!”
In true Dr.Seuss style there is rhyming throughout the book. I absolutely love the ending of this book. But, you are going to have to read it for yourself to see how it ends!
There is a great tribute to Dr.Seuss himself at the end of the book. There you will find a note about Dr.Seuss, his pets, and how this book came to be!
This is a great book for anyone’s book collection, especially children.

As most of you know by now, we are rearranging rooms in my house. Mostly, we are taking all my stuff out of one room and putting it into another room. Well, as my kissing booth was sitting out this weekend Callie took the opportunity to sit in it. Let’s just say she now has a lot of explaining to do!
Hope you all have a great Monday. Stay out of trouble! 🙂

Today’s post is going to the cats! Well, at least to Callie the Cat.
She sure is a strange cat to say the least.
Over the last month we have been re-configuring rooms in my house since my Aunt moved out. Now my dad has his “Man Cave,” Callie has her own room, and now mom and me share a room for crafts and blogging. In Callie’s room, she has a wonderful day bed (picture above) for her to take her cat naps on and finally leave me alone in peace.
I guess, however, it is more comfy to lay on the floor in my room to take her naps. It wouldn’t be so bad, but she purrs so loud. How is a dog suppose to get anything done.

I’m excited to share with you the Pet Gift Box, July’s subscription. Each month Pet Gift Box has a theme and July’s theme was “Bark-B-Que.”
I decided to pull out the ol’ grill and present this box properly. I placed the meat on the grill and will let you know when they are done. In the mean time lets look at what else came in the box.
What’s a Bark-B-Que with out condiments.
From Petchup we have:
Petcup
Muttstard
Bark B-Q
These condiments are great to put on your dog’s food to add a little extra favor.
Let me introduce you to the main course: BurgerBuddy, Sausage Rope Toy, or Hot Off The Grill Toy. The best part of all three of these toys, they all have amazingly loud squeakers!
Which one should I dive into first???

This treat made it hard for me to wait patiently for my mom to take pictures. As you can tell in the picture above, I was giving my mom the “puppy eyes” for her to hurry up.
When it was finally time to sink my teeth into this treat I went to town. In the photos I wanted to show the different stages it took for me to eat this treat. I’m an aggressive chewer and I was able to consume this entire 6 inch treat in about 5 minutes. My mom got worried that I was going to chock on the this treat when it got small (last picture below) that she ended up throwing out the last little bit.
I would give this product 2 paws up.
I loved that this Bully Stick is made in the U.S. with limited ingredients and promotes good dental health. However, there was a risk of chocking at the end of this treat.
