The other day my humans went to the cities (“the cities” in is Minnesota term referring to the Twin Cities and the surrounding suburbs) to do some shopping at MOA and Ikea. Can you believe, that they spent the day there and all they got me was a purple bandanna?!?!
At least they took a picture of this cute Snoopy and Woodstock statue outside of Ikea.
By the way, what do you think of my new haircut?!?!
With all the hustle and bustle that goes on in my house it was bound to happen. I’m just surprise it took my humans and my aunt this long to finally catch on.
Now, I bet you are wondering, “Catch on to what?!?”
Let me tell you. During Christmas time my loved ones noticed I was getting a little bit husky. And I’m not talking about the breed. After, much deliberation and many conversations my humans and my aunt found out that I was getting fed more then twice a day. I was raised to be part of the “clean bowl club” so there are never left overs as evidence of this misfortune. How long this has been happening, I’ll never tell.
Here is how my humans decided to handle this situation, with the Membo.
The Membo is a daily reminder tool that helps communicate when tasks are done. For example, when my dad feeds me in the morning he simply flips over that day’s tab and my mom or aunt knows that I was fed.
My humans got two of them one for in the morning and one for supper time. This new tool will also cut down on all the paper notes left everywhere.
Here are some great features about this product:
Comes in 9 different colors to match your decor.
Has 4 different icons you can use: Basic, Dog, Cat, and Fish. This way if you have a dog, a cat, and a fish you could have one for each of them and no one will get confused. You are able to go onto their website and find more icons as well.
If comes with magnets and adhesive mounts so you can place it anywhere.
This product works great not only for feeding animals but water your flowers, taking medications, etc.
The only down fall that I found is it cost $19.95 for one. This is expensive, but with the money saved by only feeding me twice a day will cover it in the long run.
Now I just need to work on my form in time for swim suit season! 🙂
Yesterday, here is southern Minnesota we had a good, old fashioned blizzard. So, I decided it was a good time to try out my new shoes from Kurgo.
Let me start out saying that I was only outside for maybe 5 minutes. Trust me, I was only out long enough to pee and play fetch for a couple of throws.
Here is what I liked about the shoes:
Tall
Light up on the side
Protected not only my feet but my fur as well from getting clumped full of snow
Great grip on the bottom to help me from slipping and sliding around
What I need to work on:
How to get them tight enough to stay on. One of them kept on falling off.
Over all, I loved my new shoes I got for Christmas. Just need to get use to them because I look like Bambi did when he was trying to walk on ice. Click here to check out the shoes on the Kurgo website.
Hope everyone stays warm and has a great Fitdog Friday!
