Archives for December 2013
This has been one exciting year! Not only am I another year older and wiser but I have met some amazing fur butts and their humans.
Here are some of my top memories of 2013:
*I turned 6 years old in January
*In the Spring I lost one of my favorite fur-iends, Manhoney
*Carlie and Louie joined my extended family in early summer
*September 7th was our first live post:
*Went dressed as Benjamin Franklin for Halloween and won the costume contest
*Was able to donate over $150 worth of supplies and goodies to our local humane society
*Christmas Card Contest:
K9-cards 51, e-cards 16, Human-32
*Including this post I have 82 published post
I would just like to give each and everyone of you a heart felt thank you for you advise, support, and encouragement along way! I’m excited to see there this adventure takes me and can’t wait to share it with you!
Here’s to 2013!
Christmas Tales
Earlier this week mom packed me in a car full of food, presents, and gear and we headed out to the farm to celebrate Christmas.
While I was there I had a lot of time to play with my fur-iends, Abbey, Louie, and Carlie. As you can tell my mom had fun playing dress up too.
I saw a couple of presents under this tree for me. 😉
What’s a farm with out a Christmas tree decorated with tractors. Red tractors that is! 🙂
On Christmas Eve it looked like a winter wonder land outside.
Look at all that fluffy, white stuff!
Merry Christmas, check out my new bandanna.
I clean up pretty good.
The custom wrapping paper was a huge hit!
Thank you to Dakota’s Den for this amazing prize I won a couple of weeks ago.
My grand-paw-ents really liked their present as well. Another great find at a local craft fair.
These personalized pet ornaments were a smashing success.
My mom ordered these adorable ornaments from a shop on Etsy called, DeighanDesign. The owner of this shop, Amanda, mostly makes personlized bridal hangers, garter sets, cake toppers, bridesmaid gifts and so much more.
But she also makes these ornaments. A custom dog bone is $16 and a custom cat silhouette is $18. These make wonderful gifts year round and you can add them to your tree, treat jar, or photo.
She is giving my readers 10% off your orders by using the code: SPENCER.
And what would a holiday be without my mom stopping by Target and picking up 50% off dog clothing for next year. Looks like I will be an elf and have a new set of pajamas.
Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. Now it is time to get ready to ring in the New Year, 2014!
Gift Wrapping
Finally got all my gifts wrapped! A couple of weeks ago I won a contest where the prize was customized wrapping paper. I decided now was the best time to use it.
I got my Grand-paw and Grand-maw this sign.
For my fur-iends, Abbey, Louie, and Carlie part of their gifts are these custom made ornaments. I also got one for my purr-iend Callie and one for myself.
Since I’m growing my hair out and don’t have thumbs I enlisted my moms help wrapping.
Now the hard part, waiting patiently until it is time to open gifts!

Gift Exchange
A couple of days ago I received a package from Goose as part of the gift exchange. It couldn’t have come at a better time, with my mom being under the weather the last couple of days they have kept me entertained for hours.
Enough pictures mom, I want to play!
Goose sent me some of his mom’s homemade treat. They are delicious!
Here are the goodies!
Thank you so much again Goose, you did a wonderful job!
Wordless Wednesday: The Reason for the Season
With the hustle and bustle of the holiday in full swing we can not forget the true reason for the season, the birth of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
| My parents purchased this manger set when they were in Alaska. It is my favorite manger cause it has a husky in it! Please take sometime, slow down and reflect on how blessed we all are. |
Tasty Tuesday: The Season for Giving
This morning my mom went to town to work on some Christmas shopping. Little did I know she was playing on stopping at the pet store without me. But when she shared her trip it made me proud.
Each year our local pet store features a sharing tree that has dog and cat pictures from our local animal shelter on it. On the back of each picture is something that either the animal needs or the shelter needs.
My mom picked Hershey. Isn’t he adorable!
He would like some raw hide chews.
After looking over the entire selection my mom picked 6 - 5 inch and 6 - 10 inch raw hide. That way both the small dogs and the big dogs have the right size.
During this season please remember you
